OBJECTIVES

  • Promote Mental Health: Enhance emotional well-being, reduce stress, and foster resilience among students through regular interaction with therapy animals.

  • Boost Academic Engagement: Improve focus, motivation, and classroom engagement by providing a calming outlet for students.

  • Develop Social-Emotional Skills: Cultivate empathy towards animals, responsibility, and social skills through animal-assisted activities.

  • Develop the children's book on animal love.
Implementation Plan

Phase 1 – Pilot Program
(Months 1-6): Identify partner schools and establish 2–3 animal therapy centers, focusing on schools with vulnerable student populations.

Phase 2 – Full Implementation
(Months 7-12): Train school staff and animal therapy handlers, create therapy schedules, and integrate activities into existing mental health support services.

Phase 3 – Monitoring and Evaluation
(Months 12-15): Conduct evaluations to assess impact on students’ well-being and academic engagement, gathering feedback for improvements


Target Audience

Primary and secondary school students, particularly those in under-resourced areas or who are struggling with socio-emotional or academic challenges.

Expected Outcomes
